man walked on the moon
because on earth he was alone
he captured stars in jars
just to bring a piece of it home

man soared through the sky
just to touch the rainbow
he sang words with the birds
as he admired their view

man swam into the oceans
he wanted to feel the bottom
his feet the ground did meet
but in the sand it was forgotten

man wanted to find love,
the movies were full of romance
but he was told that he was to old
